The Gujarat Titans secured a comfortable seven-wicket victory, setting up an exciting IPL 2026 final against RCB.
While the first innings provided an explosive display of power, the chase was a masterclass in calm, composed batting. Shubman Gill was at his absolute best, elegantly and clinically dismantling the Rajasthan Royals’ bowling attack with a beautiful array of boundaries.
He found a steady ally in Sai Sudharsan, who notched up another half-century before his innings came to a bizarre end via a hit-wicket dismissal. Rahul Tewatia then stepped in, unleashing a quick-fire flurry of shots to wrap up the chase efficiently.
For the Rajasthan Royals, the game hinged on their ability to strike early with the new ball. Once Jofra Archer and Nandre Burger failed to break through, the team found themselves constantly playing catch-up. Despite the exit, it was a fantastic season for young talent Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, and the Royals leave with plenty of promise for the future.
