Jasprit Bumrah: 4/13 (4 overs). His masterclass included a hat-trick ball and clean-bowling James Neesham and Matt Henry.


James Neesham (NZ): 3/46, including a triple-wicket over where he dismissed Samson, Kishan, and Suryakumar Yadav (golden duck).


The 2026 Road to the Final:


Earlier in the year (January 2026), India hosted New Zealand for a 5-match T20 series, which India won 4-1. That series was marked by Ishan Kishan’s maiden T20I century and Arshdeep Singh's 5-wicket haul in the final match at Thiruvananthapuram.
