In the 4th T20I of the five-match series, New Zealand secured a convincing 50-run victory over India at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. Despite the loss, India still leads the series 3-1 after having won the first three matches.

​1. New Zealand’s Explosive Batting
​After losing the toss and being put in to bat, the Black Caps posted a formidable 215/7.
​The Foundation: Openers Tim Seifert (62 off 36) and Devon Conway (44) gave New Zealand a dream start, putting on a 100-run partnership in just over 8 overs.

​The Finish: Daryl Mitchell provided the late-innings fireworks with a quickfire 39 off 18 balls, pushing the total past 200.

​India’s Bowling: Arshdeep Singh and Kuldeep Yadav were the pick of the bowlers, claiming two wickets each and helping to curb the scoring rate during the middle overs.

​Chasing 216, India’s top order crumbled under pressure.
​Top Order Collapse: Abhishek Sharma fell for a golden duck on the very first ball, and captain Suryakumar Yadav followed shortly after. Sanju Samson managed 24 but failed to convert his start.

​Shivam Dube’s Lone Fight: The highlight of the Indian innings was Shivam Dube, who played a spectacular knock of 65 off just 23 balls (including seven 6s). At one point, he struck 29 runs in a single over, briefly giving India hope.

​The Conclusion: Once Dube was dismissed, the tail offered little resistance. New Zealand’s captain Mitchell Santner led the bowling attack with clinical figures of 3/26, bundling India out for 165 in 18.4 overs.
