The day is regarded in Jain tradition as an annual occasion of forgiveness, where devotees seek pardon from all living beings and extend forgiveness in return. It is marked by deep reflection, repentance, and inner cleansing, guiding individuals toward spiritual peace.
said that Samvatsari serves as a reminder of the beauty of forgiveness and the power of compassion. “This festival inspires us to strengthen relationships with sincerity, and to imbibe humility and kindness in our lives,” he wrote, urging people to let their hearts remain humble and their actions reflect harmony and goodwill. Modi concluded his message with the words “Micchami Dukkadam.”

NASA Astronauts  Sunita Williams &  and Butch Wilmore  Return Safely On  Earth on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 : NASA astronauts Sunita Williams Return Live   to Earth  after nine months in space  on  Tuesday  after spending  greater than nine months on the International Space Station. Their spacecraft, SpaceX’s Dragon Freedom tablet, effectively splashed down off the Florida coast close to Tallahassee, at 5. Fifty seven pm on Tuesday  day at Tuesday at 3:27 am. NASA astronaut Sunita Williams &  fellow Crew-9 members have exited the Dragon capsule. They will be now taken to Houston for rehabilitation programme.
