Earthquake of 7.3 magnitude hits the coast of Alaska on Wednesday.  warning of sunami covering large portion of the Alaska is issued

by US Geological Survey (USGS).

The earthquake hits Alaska at local time approx 12:37 PM (2037 GMT), with its epicentre located appox 54 miles (87 km) south of Sand Point, near Popof Island, at the centre of the Alaska Peninsula.The depth  recorded was at 20.1 km, making it a relatively shallow earthquake, which is more damaging.

NASA Astronauts  Sunita Williams &  and Butch Wilmore  Return Safely On  Earth on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 : NASA astronauts Sunita Williams Return Live   to Earth  after nine months in space  on  Tuesday  after spending  greater than nine months on the International Space Station. Their spacecraft, SpaceX’s Dragon Freedom tablet, effectively splashed down off the Florida coast close to Tallahassee, at 5. Fifty seven pm on Tuesday  day at Tuesday at 3:27 am. NASA astronaut Sunita Williams &  fellow Crew-9 members have exited the Dragon capsule. They will be now taken to Houston for rehabilitation programme.
