Paris Olympics 2024: Vinesh Phogat announces her retirement from wrestling after weight-based disqualification from Paris Olympics 2024

Vinesh Phogat retirement: The Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat announced her decision to quit the sport after her disqualification from the 50kg gold medal bout after failing weigh-in.

In social media post on Thursday morning, Vinesh posted on her X account: She wrote “Mother, wrestling won against me, I lost. Forgive me as your dreams and my strength are broken. I do not have any more strength left in me. Goodbye wrestling 2001-2024.

Vinesh Phogat created history by becoming the first ever Indian woman wrestler to qualify for the  Olympic final Vinesh Phogat defeated Yusneylys Guzman of Cuba 5-0 & enter the gold medal match of women’s freestyle 50kg event.

Their spacecraft, SpaceX’s Dragon Freedom tablet, effectively splashed down off the Florida coast close to Tallahassee, at 5. Fifty seven pm on Tuesday  day at Tuesday at 3:27 am.
