Olympics Paris 2024: Vinesh Phogat's Appeal For Silver Medal Dismissed by CAS:

Phogat's plea for a silver medal, after getting disqualified from the Women's 50kg freestyle wrestling very last on the Paris Olympics 2024, has been dismissed by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on Wednesday.

A statement was released by CAS in its verdict stated that, "The application field by Vinesh Phogat on August 7 has been dismissed."

IOA President PT Usha In a statement, expressed "shock and disappointment at the decision of the Sole Arbitrator of CAS to dismiss wrestler Vinesh Phogat's application against the United World Wrestling (UWW) &  the International Olympic Committee (IOC). In the reports it was said that the IOA is 'exploring further legal options'.

NASA Astronauts  Sunita Williams &  and Butch Wilmore  Return Safely On  Earth on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 : NASA astronauts Sunita Williams Return Live   to Earth  after nine months in space  on  Tuesday  after spending  greater than nine months on the International Space Station. Their spacecraft, SpaceX’s Dragon Freedom tablet, effectively splashed down off the Florida coast close to Tallahassee, at 5. Fifty seven pm on Tuesday  day at Tuesday at 3:27 am. NASA astronaut Sunita Williams &  fellow Crew-9 members have exited the Dragon capsule. They will be now taken to Houston for rehabilitation programme.
