 * **The Kishan-Klaasen Show:** Following the opening fireworks, Ishan Kishan stitched the innings together beautifully, anchoring yet dominating with a brilliant **79 off 44 balls**. At the other end, Heinrich Klaasen was at his brutal best, punishing the RCB bowlers to rack up **51 off 24 balls** in a massive 113-run partnership. Nitish Kumar Reddy added a late cameo of 29* off 12 balls to take SRH to a mammoth total of 255.

 * **The RCB Chase:** Chasing a mountain of 256, RCB got off to a quick start with an aggressive partnership in the powerplay, highlighted by Venkatesh Iyer’s impactful **44 off 19 balls**.

 * **Control by SRH Bowlers:** After Venkatesh Iyer and Virat Kohli (15) departed, RCB's chase slowed down. Skipper Rajat Patidar hit a spirited **56 off 39 balls** and Krunal Pandya contributed a hard-fought **41* off 31 balls**, but SRH's bowlers—led by Pat Cummins—kept a tight leash on the game to ensure the target remained well out of reach.

The Player of the Match (Man of the Match) for the Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru clash on May 22, 2026, was Ishan Kishan of SRH.
